Project overview

About the project.

Pronunciation is learned by speaking, being heard, and being corrected. That is straightforward with one child and one teacher. It becomes almost impossible with thirty children and forty minutes which is the reality of every primary classroom. In practice, most young learners read aloud to a teacher for a minute or two a week, and the rest of their practice happens unheard and uncorrected.

Zaira AI was built to close that gap for students from kindergarten through Grade 6 in Saudi schools. Every child gets an AI listener that hears them read, evaluates their pronunciation, and responds immediately with feedback and another chance to try as many times as they want, in class or at home, without waiting for a teacher’s turn. Around that core we built a complete school platform: a student experience delivered on both web and mobile, a teacher portal for assigning practice and monitoring class progress, a school administration portal for managing teachers, classes and students, and parent access with controls and visibility into their child’s learning. The result is a system where the practice a child needs most — repeated, individually corrected speaking finally scales to an entire school.
