ERPNext is a genuinely strong platform out of the box, and then every real business breaks the default. A distributor needs a credit approval chain that does not exist. A manufacturer needs a costing method the standard module will not do. A clinic needs a print format that satisfies an insurer. We customise ERPNext on the Frappe framework so it fits the business instead of asking the business to fit it: custom doctypes and child tables, workflow and approval chains, role-based permissions, client and server scripts, custom print formats and reports, dashboards, scheduled jobs, and API integrations to payment gateways, logistics partners, e-commerce storefronts, WhatsApp and the tax portals you are obliged to file with. We also handle the unglamorous half — migration from Tally, from spreadsheets, from a legacy system nobody has documentation for.

The reason to bring this work to us rather than to a generalist developer is straightforward: we have implemented ERP more than seventy times in the United States retail sector alone, and we build and maintain our own ERP product, NexERP. We know precisely where ERP projects die — not in the code, but in the data migration, the chart of accounts, the users who quietly keep their old spreadsheet, and the customisation that makes the next upgrade impossible. So we customise in a way that survives version upgrades, we insist on a parallel run, we train the people who will actually use it, and we stay on for support and AMC afterwards. Open source should give you freedom, not an orphaned instance.
